Frequently asked questions

How do I create a recurring task?

Tap the add button, give the task a name and category, then choose how it repeats — a fixed calendar interval, an interval measured from each completion, or a one-off. Set a reminder lead time so you're nudged ahead of the due date.

What's the difference between fixed and completion-based schedules?

A fixed schedule keeps the same calendar cadence no matter when you complete the task. A completion-based schedule measures the next due date from when you actually finished it. Use fixed for calendar-anchored jobs (an annual service) and completion-based for "every few months after I last did it" jobs (a water filter).

How do I share a task with my household?

Open a task you own, tap Share, and send the invite link. The person you invite can join as a viewer or an editor. When anyone completes a shared task, everyone is notified and reminders update automatically.

My invite link won't open the app

Make sure Due Again is installed and you're opening the link on the same iPhone. If the app isn't installed yet, the link shows a preview and a button to download it — install the app, then re-open the link to join.

I'm not getting reminders

Check that notifications are enabled for Due Again in iPhone Settings → Notifications, and that each task has a reminder lead time set. If a task is archived it won't produce reminders.

What are the free limits?

The free plan covers up to 4 active tasks and sharing with 1 person. Due Again Pro removes both limits — unlimited tasks and unlimited household sharing.

How do I delete my account or data?

You can delete individual tasks in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email dueagain@peerassembly.com and we'll take care of it.
